Community trigger - anti-social behaviour
NHS Greater Preston Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is working with the local council, police and other partners to look at anti-social behaviour issues to try and resolve them together.
As part of the new community trigger, the CCG is one of the statutory partners dealing with anti-social behaviour in the Greater Preston area together with the police and local authority
The community trigger is part of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 where victims of anti-social behaviour or their representatives can request a review of how their complaint has been dealt with.
When a request is made under the community trigger agencies must determine if the threshold has been met and inform the requester. If the threshold is met, a case review will be undertaken by the partner agencies who will share information related to the case, review what action has previously been taken and decide whether additional actions are possible.
