Antibiotic resistance

Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest threats facing us today.

Many procedures such as setting broken bones, chemotheraphy and basic operation all require antibiotics to work effectively. By using antiobiotics regularly, our bodies become increasingly resistant causing antibiotics to become less effective. Without effective antibiotics many routine treatments will become increasingly dangerous. To slow the resistance we need to cut unnescessary use of antibiotics.

Antibiotic Guardian is inviting the pubic, students and educators across all organisations to become Antibiotic Guardians. You can do this by making a pledge here.
