Due to the cyberattack that affected the NHS on Friday 12 May, GP practices in Greater Preston are experiencing some disruption to services.
IT engineers are supporting practices to get their systems back up and running as quickly as possible, but some electronic call queuing systems may have been affected, so patients may experience some delays in getting through to practices. If this happens, please keep trying.
Members of the public are being asked to be patient with practices at this time and use NHS services wisely.
NHS 111 is available 24/7, and local pharmacists can also provide expert advice and over-the-counter medicines without the need to see a GP.
Some practices are still experiencing some disruption and it is recommended that you check your local GP practice's website to see if it is affected. A full list of GP practices within the Greater Preston area, as well as links to their websites, can be found here.
