May bank holiday opening times for Greater Preston pharmacies

Many pharmacies in the area will operate with different opening hours than usual over the May bank holiday dates.

It is important to be as prepared as possible for your local pharmacy's change of opening hours by stocking up on any medicine you may need if you become unwell this bank holiday - your pharmacist can offer you highly qualified advice on medicine cabinet essentials.

If you have prescribed medication, make sure you have enough to see you through the bank holiday when your GP or pharmacy might be operating different opening hours.

Below you can find details of which pharmacies will be open in Greater Preston during the coming public holidays.

Some of the pharmacies that will be open are part of the NUMSAS (NHS Urgent Medical Supply Advanced Service) which enables them to supply to a patient referred to them by the NHS 111 service who has previously been prescribed a medicine or appliance on an NHS prescription.

Those who need urgent care and are unable to reach their local pharmacist or get a GP appointment should call NHS 111 which is available throughout the bank holidays and can provide care for those who need it, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You can download a printable version of the below pharmacy opening times here.
